i have a name

don't call me names
that aren't mine.

do not refer to me
as a young child
baby was never
my given name.

do not address me
like i am a royalty
i never belonged
to a royal family.

do not relate me
to any mammal that i am not.
i am also human
just like you are.

do not characterize me
like i'm some kind of
edible piece of pastry
or a buzzing insect that flies.

i am nothing of those.

if you mean to describe me; use my name.
if you mean to call me; use my name.
if you mean to be sweet towards me; please, use my name.
